Backyard Habitat
Resources for the Pacific Northwest
Many local, regional, national, and international resources are available to help you create habitat in your backyard, schoolyard, or community garden. Many resources can be useful to residents of different areas of the Pacific Northwest due to a similarity of habitats and species. For example, western Oregon, western Washington, and British Columbia share many of the same plant and animals species, whereas the plants and animals of eastern Washington could also be found in eastern Oregon and Idaho.
